though its winter outside, Auburn is in a cow "hot tub"....she couldn't stand by herself due to
a metabolic imbalance due to having a baby...so after getting in the tub, we sealed the back and filled the
tank with 120 degree water....it buoyed her to a standing position where she stayed for about 12 hours,
before standing on her own.....in the tank she can enjoy hay and feed when she feels like it!
Like all dairy farmers I know, we treat our cows "mothers", with kindness and concern.....they provide our livelihood...
